About us
The Polish Language and Culture Association
The PLCA Foundation is a charity organisation registered in the UK under the number 1170478 and has been operating on the educational market for over 10 years. It was created from the heartfelt need of educating future generations of Poles, and with time the function of the charity evolved. Today, above all else, it focuses on creating an educational space for children and young people, where with the help of adults and using an original program, they discover their individual talents and build fundamental skills they need to create a happy and joyful life in harmony and wellness.

Our Mission
The main goal of the foundation is to provide various forms of education namely face-to-face, hybrid and remote through the PLCA Polish school, Young Explorer Academy, online school of native subjects for children all over the world, training, language courses, educational workshops for children and adults, lectures, thematic conferences, individual and family consultations, support in the field of psychology, speech therapy, psychobiology, sensory therapy, physical and mental health.

Interdisciplinary Education
PLCA Polish school – interdisciplinary education for bi-/ multilinguists, combining studies and knowledge with emotional, ecological and social intelligence.

We accompany you in the process of obtaining and processing information through the educational process of development of skills acquired empirically, i.e. through sensory experience and observing various processes in the natural environment, e.g. in a forest, meadow, orchard or field;
Healthy Habits and Accepting Identity
We support physical development and promote a healthy lifestyle by inspiring creative habits that serve to develop and build one's own identity based on acceptance, tolerance and understanding;
Modern Multimedia Communication
We use modern communication technologies and organise classes using multimedia techniques

We encourage you to maintain authenticity and originality in various aspects of life, including by promotion of multilingualism and multiculturalism. Through dignity and respect for individuality, you have the opportunity to develop your talents and realise how to differently sow the seed so that it bears delightful fruit.
Logo and Name
The logo of the charity is a sunflower, which a universal symbol of happiness, joy and warmth whilst the spiral in the middle relates to constant evolution and development. It is well known that as it grows over the course of the day, the sunflower turns to face the sun. The head of the sunflower consists of dozens of individual flowers clustered together, which symbolises our PLCA community. The yellow colour of the sunflower represents exuberance, intellect and joy. The colour yellow also traditionally symbolises company.

The name of our foundation was created in beautiful circumstances, when a group of amazing people gathered together and wanted to do something for themselves and others.
